Our Blog: 2011 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 1,200 times in 2011. If it were a cable car, it would take about 20 trips to carry that many people.

  1. What’s the theory behind ice baths? We used to soak our legs below the knee in 35-40 degree water after track practices. I was mainly doing it for shin splints (or maybe undiagnosed chronic exertional compartment syndrome), but that seems to me like it was more for muscle than for joint. Please don’t tell me it’s worthless and I suffered needlessly…..

  2. Julie,

You hit “leave a reply” while looking at the most recent posting but you were on the home page where the most recent story was along side other stories. So, you were commenting at the top level and not to the specific story. This level would be for people who had comments related to the site, but not to a specific posting.

If you click on the story title and then reply, you will have your comment connected to the specific story. If you go to a story from the email notice sent out by the system, this will happen automatically and if you go the home URL directly, then you need to click on the title.
